Home > Sales & Services > e-Freezer Services > e-Freezer Stock Request e-Freezer Stock RequestIf your institution has access to a Genesearch e-freezer, you can use our shopping cart to request stock or order products without leaving your desk. Note: if you have access to multiple e-freezers, the goods will be sent to the primary e-freezer for your department as defined when your smartcard was issued. To send them to a different e-freezer you will have to do your order or request at that e-freezer using your smartcard. Current Freezer StocksTo see whether the items are already in stock, you can request a stock report from the e-freezer by e-mail. To do this, send an email directly to the e-freezer (its email address is on the back page of your user's manual), with the word "stock" as the subject. No text is needed in the body of the email. A reply will come back from the e-freezer with a complete listing of the current stock, including pack sizes and prices. (This usually happens within 1 to 5 minutes. The reply may be delayed if someone is using the e-freezer when your email arrives, or if there are network problems.) Orders & Stock RequestsIf the item you want is not in stock, you can order it at the e-freezer when logged in with your card, or remotely using our shopping cart. Web orders will elicit a confirmation email confirming what you requested and noting any problems. Your order will not be finalised until you confirm that email. Items stocked at your e-freezer are automatically adjusted according to sales history, so if you start using a product that is not currently stocked, it will become a stock item within a short period. If you think something should be added to stock independently of current order history, please email us explaining the reason for your request.
