Smartcard Spending Limit

If you already have a smartcard for a Genesearch e-freezer, use this form to apply for an increase in your spending limit on your card.

NOTE 1: In general it is preferable to clear your existing spending rather than increasing the card's sending limit. If you do choose to increase your total card limit rather than zeroing your existing spending, if any individual user(s) have their own user spending limits these will not be increased unless you specify the users and their new limits under "Extra Notes".

NOTE 2: You must have authorisation from your Accounts Department to allow extra spending, so your request will be forwarded to them for signing before we can implement your request.

Make unlimited
Remove the limit on card spending. This will not affect any specific user limits.
Clear spending
Zero your existing spending, thus returning your available funds to the original amount. For example, if your limit is $2,000 and you have spent $1,600, this will rewrite your card and all its users to show spending of $0, thus restoring your available funds to $2,000. You can simultaneously do this and change your limit.
Change limit
Change your spending limit. For example, if your current limit is $2,000, you have spent $1,600 and you increase this to $3,000, you will have $1,400 available funds. Individual user limits if any will not be affected.

Auto-clear spending:

Set your new card spending limit and/or how frequently to auto-clear the spending on the card. The latter is useful if you want to restrict spending per unit time but don't want to have to keep updating your spending limit.

Note 1: these settings are ignored if you select "Make unlimited".

Note 2: Don't forget to set auto-clear to the proper rate if you already use this feature and are just changing your limit.
