E-freezer is an innovative reagent delivery system that give researchers immediate access to the reagents they need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Features of the e-freezer system include:

• The e-freezer is easy to use with a point-and-click interface.
• Each smartcard can have up to 10 users.
• Cards and users have optional and independent expiry dates and spending limits. For example, the head of the lab can have an unlimited budget and no expiry date, while his or her students can have strict budget limits with ordering permission set to expire when they are due to finish.
• The freezer can show currently stocked items only, the entire catalogue, or subsections of the entire catalogue (e.g. restriction enzymes or thermostable polymerases).
• Freezers can be sited in locations where there is 24-hour access, 7 days a week.
• No administration or record-keeping required: just buy the product and take it away.
• If an item isn't in stock, you can order it and/or request that it be added to freezer stock.
• If you order or request an item, you will be emailed when it arrives at the freezer.
• You can e-mail the freezer to get its current stock list.
